T.S. Eliot and Gaming
Why do you think T.S. Eliot is such a major impact on gaming, or at least the type of gaming I do. I can't count how many campaigns I've seen which have been retellings or commentaries on The Wasteland.

And now I'm pondering Gerontion which has quite a bit interesting to say on the subejct of a spy game, or at least the state of mind I'm contemplating.

Think / Neither fear nor courage saves us. Unnatural vices /
Are fathered by our heroism. Virtues /
Are forced upon us by our impudent crimes.

I am an Eliot fan, (though to be honest, I've yet to read The Wasteland in its entirity), and this comment is one I found interesting, also being a gamer. I'm curious to hear more on this vein. Although I've borrowed quotes from it for a couple different games I've run, I've never thought of an entire campaign based on it.
